I have one instance of Plex (call Plex1) installed and working fine but am having troubles updating it. Therefore, I was going to install a new instance of Plex (call Plex2) and just copy over the metadata. I can successfully install another iocage of it and then I sign into my account with the new Plex2. But I am unable to add another server. It keeps defaulting to my initial Plex1 server and I cannot find how to access Plex2 inside the ip address of Plex2.
Use this procedure to update Plex on TrueNAS. I know it was written for FreeNAS 11.2 but I am running TrueNAS 12.0-U8 and it has been bullet proof for me.
