Music Artist with no album groupings results in an error - regression with 4.121.1

I have over 8000 albums, either digitally purchased, most HD and my CD collection ripped to flac files. With almost 6000 movies and 1200 TV shows.

I’m glad it’s only music files effected. Most are bands like Neil Diamond because it’s his collections I purchased. Others like Pearl Jam and the Greatful Dead, Rush, each band approximately 20-25 albums and there not effected. 35 Pearl Jam LP’s

With so many albums I can’t check them all.

I have this issue too, one of my artists just has 10 compilation albums in it and i get this error

I have this issue. When is this getting fixed ? It impacts the usage library significantly.

Also experiencing this issue for multiple artists in my library. My %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex\cache directory has no updates folder containing previous versions to restore, and the problem was unresponsive to turning off the “Group albums by type” setting. So I guess I am stuck without a workaround until the release actually happens

I am having the issue again after the latest update “Version 1.87.2.87-87488d5a” It is different then the last time there was a bug, this time the compilation is on my “PLEX” music, just not on the same page.

Will this get fixed?

The only way to find it, is to do a search. “Here is one example with the Weekend”, I have 10 of his albums, I have 5 albums, 4 singles & EPs and 1 compilation.

At this time, as seen in the pic, the compilation is not on the Weekends page. It can only be found with the seasrch as shown in the second image.

The web client is very buggy right now, but I just tried to reproduce that and I couldn’t.

Does all artists with compilations exhibit that?

Groupings are a mess. I can’t get any groupings in artists with multiple types, when an artist only has a single grouping type they are reflected. Sigh. What is going on with Plex nowadays?
