I am sure this topic has come up a lot but I have seen conflicting posts.
All I want to do is create a collection of music videos and have them play automatically without have to press play after every song.
Any advice is appreciated.

I totally agree I need this feature too. It seem impossible to do right now in Plex but is that a possibility with a channel? Can channels only use web data or can it use plex server data?
I’d be up for developing this channel if it’s something at all possible with the channel API. I think it’s impossible for channels to use server data but I just want to make sure. If it’s impossible what’s the solution here aside from begging?

+1 - I'd also like to see music video support in Plex. Using either IMVDB or MVDBASE it should be possible if you sort your videos by artist/title. So far this only seems possible via the iTunes app/plugin.

What client are you using?
Atleast for PMC(Plex Media Center) client, in OS X, I can just:
- Add videoitems to a playlist by pressing q
- Bring up the playlist by pressing space
- Start playback at arbitrary video in playlist by pressing enter
Not sure if it can handle multiple playlists though.
If you press right-key whilst in the playlist, the following options are available(haven't tried them):
- Repeat(on/off)
- Save
- Clear
- Shuffle
+1. It would be awesome if videos playlists could be implemented on Plex and to have the possibilty to play all videos from playlist without having to forward for playing play next video (on all Plex clients and web UI).
This is not a forum for feature requests. It is for discussion (Q&A) regarding the development of channels. If someone decides to attempt a music video channel with playlist support, they can open a new thread with any development questions that come up.
