Need to delve into Plex development

Hello,

 

I need something to use a custom rating system (i.e more than 5-star rating, more like 10-star or so).

Where should I start, should I create an agent or a metadata scanner or what should I do and what could I base myself on?

 

I see the development resource link is not active, it pushes me back to the Plex Blog.

 

I basically need something to read the custom rating (could use the same metadata field like RATING or a new one like CUSTOM_RATING) and display it on the library. And optionally be able to change the rating via Plex.

 

Is this possible at all?

The dev resource site (which is currently not working as expected) is specific to channel development so it wouldn't be helpful to you in this case unfortunately.

Thanks. Do you know of anything at all that would help me try and make this?
