Standalone Music Video section (without dependence on music files!)

Problem: Currently, Music Videos can be stored in a global music videos folder. They then display neatly formatted on the page of each music artist in a Music section. This is great. But as a consequence you have to have music for each artist in order to see any of their videos, in this nice format. Support for Karaoke Formats e.g. cdg

Looking around the forums there are people requesting this, but searching reveals nothing in the official feature request section (at least that I can find). This function has been supported in XBMC / Kodi for a very very long time, I would have thought with the recent addition of lyrics for music it would now be a trivial matter to incorporate the code. Vote if you want it!
