Here’s an idea - how about instead of downgrading things and making your product worse, you upgrade and make it better?
I’ve reached a point where I have a need for a Music Video library, and went to add one. ONly - I can’t, because someone idiot in their infinite wisdom decided that removing functionality and features that already existed was a good idea.
This is the type of person that ought to not be employed, and repalced with someone that adds value instead of removes value.
I’ve been acquiring music videos that are parts of full concerts, and sometimes they are encoded in different ways, which would mean if I wanted to combine them to a single file with chapters, it would require a bunch of work re-encoding things, and adding a generation to sources, degrading the material, whether or not you would consider the degredation “noticeable”.
What would make logical sense, would be to utilize technology readily available, to easily be able to add a library capable of treating groups of tagged videos the same as a music library treats albums.
Not sure why we can’t have nice things like these, and instead you have to work to remove functionality.
