New Roku Search

I personally have not enjoyed the new search, i’ve gotten a few texts from friends/family about the new search and finally my wife said yesterday that search was totally broken and we should thinking about ditching roku.

My thoughts about the new roku search:

You have the whole screen please use it. It shows about 3 items and you need to scroll right to get to anything

The most irrelevant items are shown first. If I type in somethine like “Paw Patrol” and I have the series and a few movies I get a few actors/actress with Pa in their names, an episode that is going to air in a month, and after going to the right about 10 items, finally the series on my server. I don’t need to see “Paul Rudd” before the “Paw Patrol” series.

I liked the old search. It brought up what you wanted, showed the entire screen, and even my kids can navigate it. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

If you type “Yellowstone” you get podcasts about yellow stone exploding and it takes two pages of items before the series shows up. Can this be fixed to put series first? Why was this changed?
