I want something better and faster
What do I need to work server NAS and what is the most recent or latest model ??
I currently have an Ubuntu server on it 4TB
And how he moved from Ubuntu to the Nas
A NAS is the simplest way to run Plex but it will cost more for that convenience !
As stated by Trumpy the newish Synology handle most.
To get a Qnap with a lot more grunt look at double the price.
But “u get what you pay for”
So what is your Budget?
I want a fast and stable server just

If price is not important buy a Qnap NAS with an intel i5 or i7

TVS-1282-i7
If too much get the Synology DS918+
It is a lot cheaper but not as powerful but will likely do the job.
