OK I need to stay off Ebay I bought an Xbox 360E on a whim last night newest console 250 gigs 3 wireless controllers with 30 games for 140 bucks. not bad right? lol anyway I already use plex on my Roku 3 and my android phone on my local network I was a plex pass user but I dropped it a few months ago because I only use plex on my local network, I figured I would maybe move the roku to the bedroom and use the xbox in the living room. so after kind of skimming through some of the most recent posts I have a few questions. Does plex on Xbox 360 requie a plex pass? Are you able to access the channels the same as the other clients eg. Roku android etc…? and overall how reliable is the xbox as your main media player? I cut the cord years ago I have a Netflix and hulu account im assuming they work fine and I saw how you can access Kodi running on your server so hoping it will be as nice if not better than my Roku…?
