I have multiple Samsung TV’s connecting to my Plex server and it is difficult to see which one is which so it would be great to have a custom name or nickname that you could assign to each device…

I would love this as well. It should be VERY easy to implement into the server and could help keep track of all the Galaxy Tab’s and Chrome sessions that connect to my server. Sure it can be solved on the client end but this is just a really easy thing to implement on the server side and makes it super simple to deal with in a centralized place.

I have so many devices in my Plex from me, friends, or times I’ve just gone to visit other family members. I would love to be able to “Assign Nickname” to Authorized Devices when I connect them so that I know exactly which one it is. Seems like this would be pretty easy to add.
