Hi guys,
Having an odd issue with a new server deployment. The web, Roku and Xbox clients are not able to transcode any content. Direct Play works fine. The Windows Plex app seems to be able to play just about everything, as does the Android app.
The error message that I get on the web player and the xbox is “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”
Should mention, this is in a Docker, I’m using the LinuxServer version. I migrated this Plex database and files from a Windows install. So far I’ve tried deleting the codecs listed in the “\Plex\Library\Application Support\Plex Media Server\Codecs\96550d8-3281-linux-x86_64” folder. After a restart and attempted playback the server did download new codecs, but still no luck with playback when transcoding is needed.
