No way to randomize filtered playlist?

So I’ve created a smart playlist / filter with the following options:

Match all of the following

  • track last skipped : is not in the last year
  • track last played: is not in the last year
  • limit to 30 songs

Those 30 songs it chooses… all have artists beginning with the letter A. It’s just playing the first 30 songs it comes across instead of pulling 30 randomly from the 2500 songs it has to choose from.

Is there really no option to choose these at random?

This seems like something they should fix.

That’s library view. I’m looking at a playlist. Not seeing any option when viewing a playlist for a sort dropdown.

What do you mean? You make it random and save the smart playlist.
