Notifications displaying over video

Player Version#: not sure - whatever the latest xbox one version is as of 6/14/2019

I have the xbox system setting set to not display notifications over video but it seems to be ignoring this setting when watching plex. I constantly get messages, game invites, game download notifications, etc. over top of videos. This was fixed at one point a while ago but it’s been happening for probably a year now.

Notifications popping up over video

Ever since the latest update, notifications have been popping up while I’m watching something. I have notifications disabled during video, so this shouldn’t be happening. It didn’t happen before the latest update. Is it just me or is it a known issue?
