It is friendly to streaming apps (Hulu, Crunchyroll, Youtube, Japanese apps, etc., except notably for Netflix, which pulled all Nintendo support way back in the Wii U/3DS days)
It can be easily modified from an existing compatible version (i.e. Android, Nvidia Shield, etc.).
Can be accomplished by Dev team as shown by Xbox and Playstation clients.
That was years ago, and were under the impression that Nintendo somehow was against it (which, as the recent Crunchyroll release demonstrates, simply isn’t true).
Also why would the Plex team make a PS and XB version, but refuse the big N; seems extremely presumptuous, even for them.
If Cruchyroll has a special deal with Nintendo then great for Crunchyroll. If you want Nintendo to allow a deal with us then suggest you contact Nintendo and ask them to contact us if they are up for it.
That’s a great idea! I think I’ll do that.
As I said in my last part, I know you guys wouldn’t just blatantly refuse unless there was something else. Also they seem to have a “special deal” with any Tom, Dick, and Harry streaming provider who asks (especially in Japan), keeping in mind that the sole reason Netflix is not on Switch is because Netflix themselves actively discontinued Nintendo console support before the Switch was even announced (I’m sure Nintendo themselves wish they could add Netflix).
