Nvidia shield tv won’t connect to pled server

Hi All

My 2019 Nvidia shield tv won’t connect to the server since updates and i’ve read that the certificate needs to be reset by Plex, can anyone help please?

In case you haven’t solved this, try the following

on the Plex Player app on your Shield, open it, goto SETTINGS > ADVANCED and find ALLOW UNSECURE NETWORKS

try setting this to Local Networks Only, or Always

ok thanks, didn’t really do anything and now can’t detect external hard drive.

This app is rubbish and only bought shield tv for this.

tried all the usual installing again clearing cache and data.

any help appreciated.

Which device is running Plex Server, a Windows PC?
Is it on the same network as your Plex Player, your Nvidia Shield?
