I`m trying to optimize only the last x (15a30) movies or series automatic.
I cannot find anything about optimize through api otherwise i’ll make a python script for this.
is there any option about this ?
At this time, you can do this per-library, utilizing a Custom Filter. These only apply to a library at once.
Go into the library view mode
create a Custom Filter
‘Date added’ ‘in the last’ 30 ‘Days’
Set the sorting to ‘by Date added’
further restrict the result to an arbitrary number of items (‘LIMIT TO x ITEMS’)
click ‘Apply’
Then click on the ellipsis ⋮ top-right and click on ‘Optimize’.

A good question. The optimized versions will get removed after this time. (if new items are added, older items will get their optimized versions removed.)
So pick a time frame instead, which you deem fitting.
