Option To Enable HDR -> SDR When Creating Optimized Versions

When creating optimized versions of 4K HDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision, the HDR content is maintained by default.

In my case, I’m intentionally creating optimized versions for playback on a device that doesn’t support HDR (iPad Mini 4). As a result, when playing these optimized versions back within the (iOS) Plex app, the colors are all off.

So, this request is to add an option in the Optimized Version settings dialog (perhaps only when selecting a “Custom” transcoder profile) to enable HDR → SDR conversion.

In theory, this would be an easy feature to enable, as HDR → SDR conversions are supported, per HDR to SDR Tone Mapping | Plex Support.

So, it would just be a matter of allowing users to enable that same capability when creating optimized versions of HDR video.
