Anyone use Netflix on their mobile app? Netflix (and Youtube) even has this. Netflix is my go to app for my kids because of this.
Come on Plex Devs be the innovators that you should be - not coming up after the main commercial entities.
I have 2 tablets which I use for my special needs children to watch shows on. They really enjoy touching the screen and therefore often skip/stop/mess with settings while watching.
Before plex I used VLC and it had a feature where you could lock the display/controls while watching to avoid interrupting playback. And then click a small area of the screen to unlock.
I really would like this feature in the PLEX player for mobile devices. It would be great if there was a code/pattern that would be needed to unlock the screen, but even one button/area would be good.
I know lots of special needs families would benefit from this. Especial with the great and easy to use download content (for offline media consumption) feature PLEX has.

I’d like to bump this feature request - Netflix app on iOS has this feature now and we’ve been using it for longer car rides for our toddler who otherwise kicks the screen where it’s setup in the backseat.
