Not sure if this has been mentioned but I didn’t see it. Just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone else thinks this would make a cool feature down the road. It would be awesome to be able to message users that you share your library with or have a “bulletin” or something to update/message users even if it was only one way and not a full 2 way chat feature. Just something for the media manager to be able to communicate with people sharing the library.
YES! I am looking/hoping for EXACTLY this feature. Can we really be the only ones in nearly a year who care about this or have any opinion whatsoever?

Emby allows you to have a message on the login screen - It’s a great feature and lets you post about server shutdowns for maintenance etc… Having switched from Emby to Plex this is definitely something I miss.
Tautulli does just this. Send notifications and news letters to your users of your Plex server. Not terribly hard to configure either.
