It would be nice to have an option to point Plex to existing m3u playlists and use those for Plex playlists for a DLNA/UPnP music server or serving to Plex clients. It seems to be working for some though. Can anyone comment on their setup who got it to work with postman or curl? I’d immediately buy a lifetime membership if I could get my m3u playlists imported and ideally also musicvodeo=onlu albums to work with Plex.

Yeah, this is a bit ridiculous. I am in the same boat and have a few other friends who feel that this is a deal breaker. Many of us have tons of m3u’s that we have created over the years. At the very least, we need an import option.

Completely agree. This is the missing feature keeping me from going all in on Plex with my music library. I live off playlists and I don’t want to take the time to have to recreate 50+ playlists…

It’s not easy, but you can use the existing endpoint to import M3Us. Maybe an enterprising person will whip up a utility to make it easier before we get around to it :sweat_smile:
