I don’t see any other requests like this, although I’m item to alternatives. We use a playlist as our “watchlist” (movies we have yet to watch, and want to soon). Choosing a movie from inside the playlist automatically starts it playing. I understand this behavior, as it’s the purpose of a playlist. But given or use of a playlist, we’d like the ability to see more about individual movies, before choosing which to watch. At least being able to view the trailer would be nice. Ideally, taking us to the movie’s main menu, where we can see the description, etc…
Any suggestions to meet our needs would be appreciated. There are almost a hundred movies on our watchlist, and sometimes you’re in the mood for one thing or another, so simple ranking/ordering won’t suffice.
Feature exists in Roku (three dots on side), and web app (takes you to details screen vs playing directly), but mobile app only plays directly. We sometimes use the mobile app to pre-review our list and make a choice of what to watch in advance.
Obviously, a very, very low priority feature request.
Playlists don’t seem available in the new mobile app layout.
Not available on mine. If it’s supposed to be on the homescreen, that keeps reverting to telling me I’m offline, even though I’m not.
I’m able to use the bottom “buttons” for Shows, Movies, Music, from my local PMS, but Playlists isn’t available from the “More” overflow menu. Not sure why Home keeps showing the screenshot. If I reboot, it works the first time I go into Plex, but then shows this screen every time after (until I reboot again).
