It is not advisable to have such a long distance between server and clients. Network response times and packet roundtrip latency are getting important then. The maximum usable bitrate for a video stream will be severely limited.
I think you are better off placing the server in Europe and administrating it remotely. (Maybe at the home of one of the users.)
