Please consider development of VR/AR integration with the OVR.ai platform. This decentralized (IPFS) platform is very new but already provides an Android & Iphone app which transports you to the OVR.ai metaverse for VR and AR experience. I know that Plex has VR, but limited to 3 very specific devices (Daydream, Oculus Go and Samsung VR). Integrating with OVR would open both platforms to a whole new set of users.

The basic idea after development. I pop myself onto the couch. Put on my AR glasses (Nreal or other OVR supported glasses/goggles) and launch an OVR session that transports me into a movie theater with my OVR contacts as avatars all within the AR/VR environment.
