I have been running my plex on Centos for some time now and very happy. I recently replaced my router with a newly built pfSense router.
My local Plex server, 10.0.0.11, I can access my Plex from outside my house, but here in the domicile, i can not get to the plex server by name, only by ip.
https://10.0.0.11:32400 WORKS from any computer on any subnet at the house.
https://plexserver:32400 does not work,
I can access my plex server remotely. I would think this is a DNS issue, but run out of things to try
pfSense has DNS rebinding protection enabled by default. How do you have pfSense configured?

DNS Fowarder disabled
DNS Resolver enabled for all interfaces
Enable DNSSEC Support
Dynamic DNS not configured
I figured it out, All good now
Under Firewall-> NAT, i added a Port Forward
Interface WAN
Protocol TCP/UDP
Destination ANY
Destination Port Other -> 32400
Redirected Target IP
Redirected port Other ->32400
Filter Rule Association Create New Associated Filter Rule
