Photo libraries are too slow

They will just ignore the problem. You do not need to ping anyone, they read the forums … and ignore the problems. They are too busy implementing features no one wants.

They just removed Camera Sync, the only reason why many of us bought the Plex Pass.

I assume they gave up on photos because they can’t get enough money out of us with that feature,

+1 for the fix from me as well!! (fingers crossed)
Its sad that so called media server cant handle the simplest form of media there is. I’ve just imported 10 years of photos moving away from Google Photos, just to find out that searching for an old photo on Plex is a nightmare. Thumbnails on a bit older photos not loading(or just few of them), scrolling bar gets bugged and it starts scrolling by it self, and the time to open up a photo sometimes takes forever. Really not a great experience.

Let’s hope this latest update fixes the problem. Plex Media Server 1.24.5.5173
