TLDR: Timeline is in Date DESC order, and photos under Date are also DESC for slideshow - this makes slideshow time backwards. Timeline should remain DESC but photos under Date should be ASC
Recently, my family and I were enjoying the wonderful timeline feature in the photos library. It was my daughter’s 1st birthday, and we went back to view our other kid’s 1st birthdays to see how eat did with their “smash cake”. The timeline made it very easy to find each child’s pictures. The dates in the timeline are ordered by date which makes searching very easy. However, when you find a particular date, e.g. “07-24-17”, the pictures in that section are in reverse order. When you start the slideshow, you start viewing the very last photo taken on that date and it plays in reverse. This was pretty evident when viewing birthday photos, because you would see the cake smashed or eaten and throughout the slideshow, the cake would come back! Or presents would be open, and the slideshow magically wraps them again!
Anyone know if there is a way to change the sort order within timeline? Or is this a bug/feature that needs to me made? Thanks!
