As title suggests, I can’t seem to play the movie version I wanted play on Shield TV (ver. 3.3) Player always selects the low bandwidth version of the move. First I thought that this might be related with the audio CODEC of the file I wanted to play (It was DD True HD) but it also happens on simple compressed AC3 or DTS files.
Server and player are on the same local network. Direct Play forced, Direct Stream On, local quality is set to “original” and refresh rate switching is on. But same Plex Player version on Android Phone (Samsung S7 Edge Android 6.0.1) is working fine. I can pick the whichever version I want to play on phone.
Please note that this not related with the optimised versions. I simply have 2 version of the same movie. (original and the 3D versions)
