Playback from "recent media" should play from the playlist

When I stop playing and come back to watch, I want to start from the most recent. Problem is I watch my media from playlists so I can avoid this continuous playback issue nonsense. When selecting the watch from the most recent, it should playback from the location of the previous item i.e. the playlist, if it was being watched from the playlist.

Just trying to understand your suggestion correctly. This is about an option to resume playback in a playlist – so if you continue playing a playlist, it should resume instead of start from the beginning?

If so… there’s already an existing feature suggestion asking for that feature. In that case I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes/attention.

Possibly a duplicate, but my suggestion is better. Playing from a playlist or not, resuming the last played media should play from whence it commenced. If that thread has traction then I’ll vote and comment on that one instead.
