Playback restarts at random

Player Version#: Plex Media Player 1.38.0 on Windows 11, web player in Google Chrome

while screen sharing PMP or the web player on discord, playback often starts over at the beginning of the episode randomly. here’s what i have been able to figure out:

  • it doesn’t happen if i start the screen share, start the episode, and take my hands off the keyboard/mouse for the whole runtime
  • it consistently happens if i stop and restart the screen share while playing something (playback will always skip back to 0:00)
  • otherwise, it seems to happen at random if i interact with my pc in any way
