Player will play movie over and over and doesn’t shut down

When viewing a movie on my iPad, the movie will play, then restart over. This will cause my battery to drain if not caught.

If I use the safari web client this does not happen.

This has been going on though different server and player iterations, since the new experience rollout. It never occurred prior to the rollout.
