Playlists do not play in right order

Playlists do not play in right order. I’m running OpenPHT 1.71 on PMS 1.3.0. Sometimes they will for a few songs, but it always tries to jump back to the first song in the playlist. There are some threads in the PHT subforum about this and looks like it never got resolved.

Not sure if this is a server or client issue, but an issue nonetheless.

Just wanted to add that I get this as well. Shuffle mode in the playlist works though.

It was also a problem with 1.6.2

i suggest to create a issue on github for this, and include some logs showing this behaviour…

How about a Plex employee can do that. I’m not a beta tester. We reported the issue, that should be more than enough. It’s inexcusable that something as simple as playing a playlist not playing in the correct order made it into public release software.

plex employees dont have any involvement in openpht.

i created a 6 song music playlist from 3 albums, it played them all in sequence no issue, so you guys will need to provide more info/logs

-AND no one involved with OpenPHT is getting paid. We don’t owe you anything. YOU owe the OpenPHT community to help identify and SOLVE issues. That means doing your part of due diligence, research, and evidence. This is open source, not a closed product you’re paying for.

If you want an experience where you can ■■■■■ to a company with no responsibility to your peers, then you need to delete your copies of OpenPHT and move to a the official Plex PMP client. And I guarantee you, you will find plenty to ■■■■■ about there.

But here, we work together to make a free product For Everyone, and (to some extent or another) By Everyone as well. So let’s work together please, and stop this entitled thinking.
