Plex amp - folder view - windows app - missing scrollbar

Hi guys,

i miss th possibility to scoll down in plex amp app using windows 10 x64.

As you can see in the attached screenshot there is no scrollbar.
i have a lot of folders and want to scroll through the folder beginning with “s”.
can anybody tell me how srcoll through all of the folders and not just seeing the first 14 and nothing more.

Click the dots on the right of the page. They will take you to the relative position of your folders in the view. So, if you want to view roughly 3/4 of the way down your folder list, click roughly 3/4 of the way down the dot list.

Thats impossible. The gap between the small dots is almost 2mm.

Why is there no scrollbar?
Thats a missing, mandatory feature!!!

Hmm… You can click on the top dot and then drag downward, like a scrollbar. The list will dynamically change as you do so. Also, you don’t have to click exactly on a particular dot; they’re just there as a guide.

Try not to get too hung up on the scrollbar thing. Use the dot list; it works. Just click somewhere in the dots and drag up or down until you find what you want.

With the Android version it is possible to scroll down by using the touch screen.
But in the windows app its still impossible.

When i am clicking ob the first, upper dot and hover down, the folders wont scroll down. The only change is the “Beginning Letter”. It just change from a to b to c and so on. But only the first 14 folders are shown.

The usability of this app is horrible!

It’s pretty obvious that I’ve misunderstood your problem. I apologize for that.

The dot-list on the right behaves almost exactly like a scrollbar, in my experience. Click on it, drag up or down, and the contents change based on the relative position of the “scroll.”

Having said that, you may prefer the functionality of the “Artists,” “Albums,” or “Tracks” view, as they all have a jump list allowing you to “jump” to a view starting with all artists starting with “s,” for example.

At any rate, you may want to try other ways of discovering music in Plexamp. In particular, Sonic Adventure is awesome; click the search icon (magnifying glass) and start adding tracks. It will create a playlist based on those tracks; the more you add, the more diversity you add to your play list.

In short, if you’re using Plexamp as a folder viewing app, it’s probably not the best music solution for you. The more generic Plex app for your platform may be a better choice.

Sometimes i have to use the folder view, because some of the folders dont belong to an artist. So plex can’t assing them correctly.

In this case i use the folder view.

All your solutions are just workarounds but dont fix the problem!

I appreciate your will to help.
But i also want a usable folder view.
I my opinion rhe folder view is actual incomplete, faulty and needs to be revised.
