No, that is all I have set. 34200 is the default port so provided you haven’t changed that under PMS Server settings, you should be good.

Seems to be working fine for me. What do you mean autostart? Starting up with the Mac?
Yeah exactly
I would double check your login items and re check the option in Wimoweh. It may have been removed from the start up but it definitely starts up automatically on mine which is on the latest Sierra release.
already did. open at login enabled. missing in start up. checked it a few times.
@ekomax can you send a copy of your log files to feedback@serialangels.co.uk so I can see what’s going on? Details serialangels.co.uk/index.php/support/
the next days ok? working

Will your app work to wake Plex over LAN and WAN using the various Plex clients (iOS, Android, Apple TV etc.?).
No, this app will keep the server alive once Plex Server is serving up content. If your issue is remote waking the Plex server then that is a different issue.
I have just started using a late 2013 iMac with Mojave as my Plex Server (I was using an nvidia shield but have found seeking/playback far better on the iMac PMS). I have purchased wimoweh and it does keep the iMac awake if the film I’m playing (directplay no transcode) is in a media library on the local hard drive, however my media library is on two external USB drives and these are not staying awake while streaming. They will wake but then go back to sleep after about 30 seconds.
For now I just have to leave the iMac on all the time and tell it not to sleep.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a workaround?
Thanks in advance.
i have the same issue. I would like to wake up the imac from the ipad plex client
I have a similar problem on my MacBook Pro 13". The mac sleeps normally after a period of inactivity, or I can put it into sleep mode manually. Then the mac wakes up when Plex clients try to connect to it, and streaming begins, but a minute later the mac will go to sleep again. Then 30 seconds later it will wake up, then a minute later sleep again. And so on… The entry from my power management log is:
Entering Sleep state due to ‘Maintenance Sleep’:TCPKeepAlive=active
I researched old threads around MacOS and sleep issues, and it seems like Plex Media Server isn’t setting the correct ‘keep awake’ flag which causes the machine to sleep again. I’ve tried two different Plex clients (Android tablet and LG smart TV) and both direct play and transcoding, but the computer always sleeps after about a minute. iTunes apparently doesn’t have this problem because it sets a different wake flag.
Does anybody have PMS on MacOS successfully waking and staying awake while streaming? I’d be interested in comparing power settings etc… For now I can leave the laptop awake because it uses so little power anyway, but it would be nice to get it working properly.
I have my iMac software on Mojave and it functions well with plex and sleep.
I would suggest reading the following support page
Yep, I’ve read that along with a dozen other articles trying to figure out the problem. Earlier today I tried a fresh install of Mojave 10.14.2 with the latest PMS, no other software or drivers, and also reset the NVRAM and SMC. But I get the same problem as before. The Mac sleeps, it wakes when a Plex client starts up, but then continually sleeps/wakes during streaming. I also purchased Wimoweh to see if that helps, but it doesn’t.
When I’m using the machine, I can see that both PMS and Wimoweh are setting the PreventUserIdleSystemSleep assertion as streaming begins, but for whatever reason these are being ignored by MacOS if the machine has just woken up. I’ve tried with the lid open/closed, with an external display plugged in, various combinations of Energy Saver settings. Nothing seems to prevent the Mac going into its ‘Maintenance Sleep’ again. The only thing left to try is an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi, but otherwise I’ll probably give up with the whole thing and get a Synology box instead!
Ok, you have done what I would expect. I started looking myself and found a interesting discussion

I think your on to something with Ethernet
Im having the same issues. I got a Mac mini. Every time I log off and walk away the server goes offline.
What your settings in Energy saver Preferences? Have you reset SMC and NVRAM
