Hi, I have problems with Plex since I installed the latest version on iPad 6.3 and on Mac Plex version 1.18.0.1944, the iTunes library (channels, plugins) has completely disappeared, I can’t find it or it’s me (inexperienced ) that I can’t find. Until the previous versions I could listen to all my music library (of iTunes) on iPad, now in the settings and on the main screen but even in the settings I don’t see it anymore. I don’t want to use Tidal or anything else, I just want to use my iTunes songs, someone can help me please. Using a Mac with the Mojave 10.14.6 operating system and iPad Pro, before the latest Plex updates the iTunes server worked well on the Plex application. If Plex has abolished iTunes, will we go back to an earlier version for iPad, before Plex 6.3?
Thanks in advance
As announced back in 2018, Plex is slowly stopping support of plugins. PMS 1.18 comes with the latest version of Plex Web which no longer supports accessing plugins. PMS itself still supports them, but you’ll need to stick to using older versions of the clients.
Thank you very much. But is there a possibility to go back to a previous version of the Plex application on ipad?
You can’t officially go back on iOS. You can only install the version available through iTunes.
If you can find an old version somewhere, you can try sideloading it.
Ok. Thank you very very much for your support
Old versions for the Mac are found but unfortunately for mobile devices such as iPad or iPhone are not found. Thanks
