On a side note, show I added yesterday still doesn’t have any Metadata. In Plex Media Server log I found some warnings. Any ideas why?

I tried that yesterday and tried the manual not matched process and it didn’t work (it did find a match in TheTVDB, just didn’t grab all the metadata). Just tried again now and it has worked!!! Also noticed some other shows that had stopped grabbing meta data for new episodes are now working.
If you ever question / need to update the media for a series, just ‘pop’ the whole series (refresh it) and get it all clean and up to date at the same time)
I had a TV Show that was up to Season 03, episode 11 and Plex stopped getting the metadata from that point on. Delete the series from the server and add it back in?

I recommend:
Move the entire series to a location PMS does not normally scan.
Update the library and allow to complete
Empty the trash
Clean the bundles and allow this to complete as well.
Optimize the database and allow to complete (this might be very quick so watch for it).
Move the series back in all at once.
Update the library (unless it is already matching it)
Observe the results.
If it still does not match (show the series) we will need to examine the name and the metadata (if any) embedded in the file.
The last time problems with episode 10 / 11 occurred it was a corrupt database. We still do not know the cause as it was only one user.
Great, thanks, I’ll try this. Plex seems much more responsive now! Appreciate your patience in working through this. Fingers crossed we see better stability.
In Settings - Server - Schedule Tasks, you will see where the butler can do the optimizations for you and keep PMS’s database as crisp as possible. (It also keeps backups in case of power outages )
Those are good. with that active, there’s no reason for it to get slow unless you’re moving around / adding / deleting a lot of media (cpu strength relative).
