hello i need help making a simple channel that will read from an xml file or json file on web server, simmilar to vimcasts but without a website. i just want the channel to read the xml or json file so i can add links to it and links to the images too. does anyone have something like this? thanks!
Where do you want to add the links?
Plex framework doesn’t allow directory objects to serve as hotlinks

Have a look at the Tagesschau channel. It gets all its information from an XML file and creates a list with videos.
Heh, read it as OP wanted to access websites 
okay looked at that tagesscgau, got it working however i cant get the code to read to select a poster image from the html, any help with that guys? been racking my brain for a few days!
