Plex crashes every night

they changed way scanning works, now its the PlexTranscoder.exe that does the job. so set Transcodes to Unlimited and in Network “Remote streams allowed per user” to unlimited.
Try these settings out also that i recommended for another with similar problem: Server rarely works, it's infuriating - #14 by shavedbroom

“Transcorder default throttle buffer” set to 60

“Transcorder temporary directory” make folder with the right permissions and put in its location in the box.

“Custom certificate domain” https://youwanip:PublicPort/

“Custom server access URLS” enter: https://youwanip:PublicPort/

“Terminate sessions paused for longer than” raise to atleast 10.

“Run a partial scan when changes are detected” turn off.

“Scan my library automatically” turn off, scheduled task does this daily.

“Empty trash automatically after every scan” turn off this is done every 3 days by maintenance.

“Maximum number of on deck items which will appear” lower to 30.

“Enable server support for IPv6” turn it off.
“Secure Connections” to Preferred

and last turn off the limit on internet in remote access, leave it empty.

and turn Secure Connections to “Preferred”

and turn off verbose logging in the General tab in settings
