Plex data drive is always fragmented

My Plex Data storage drive is always fragmented badly.
Windows 10 Pro, ver 21H1.
Defrag daily.

I have always had my Data stored on a separate drive and have Plex Server on C:.
I’ve run several Defrag programs and all show that my Plex Data Drive is fragmented badly. I’ve also switched to new HDDs because sometimes they fail.
I am now using a Seagate 500gb sata (regular hdd).

Server Version#: 1.24.0.4930
Player Version#: 4.59.2

Useless. Unnecessary.

Windows does defrag automatically when needed.

All you need to do is to not write the hard drive completely full. Leave at least 15% of its storage capacity free.

Erase all those 3rd-party tools which are trying to tell you that the sky is falling if you are not using them on a daily basis. They are snake oil.

Nope, windows does not defrag automatically. I have it turned off. Same defrag tools I use on my other HDD’s (4 others) in my system, report the other drives are not fragmented. My Plex Data HDD is half full.
