Mac clients will not play video from a Mac server on the same subnet even though non-Mac clients (AppleTV, LG TV, etc) play fine.

Whatever your issue is, it has nothing to do with the server’s security certificate.

After 3 hours of checking everything and running console logs through Claude, it deduced that it was.

Funny how its only Mac clients that wont play video.

Claude is an LLM. And as such is subject to all the problems they exhibit. They’re not knowledge repositories. They will make up “facts” if they’re not able to find concrete evidence on which to draw.

Whatever Claude suggested, @OttoKerner has verified your certificate is fine. You’re problems lie elsewhere.
