Integrate Plex with Microsoft sqlexpress or mysql for database. I think that would increase performance with large Plex libraries.

If i remember correctly, Plex already uses SQLite for it’s databasing.
You seem to forget that Plex runs on a number of operating systems. SQLite is adequate for the work Plex has to do here. Many people forget that even a very large media set represents a very, very small database. The overhead associated with even mySQL would be inappropriate here.
