Plex - Fetching now playing information

I am looking to write some C# to interface with my home theater case’s VFD. Does plex have an API for fetching the “Now Playing” information? Such as the current Movie, or TV show?

The media server does not currently make that information available, but will in the future!

maybe not on the server, but on the client its possible. Try…

well it works on 9.5.2 windows clients…

Absolutely right, Rog, but that interface is deprecated and will likely eventually go the way of the Dodo :slight_smile:
