Back in Feb some of us in the community tested a alpha build that plex worked to circumvent a ffmpeg bug related to multi tags. See Only one embedded genre tag being read - #49 by drzoidberg33 for details.
Does plex plan on adding this anytime soon? Testing was positive at the time.
