Is there a plan to correctly implement ASS subtitles, im not sure if its the same on all players but on LG TVs Plex tries to burn them in, making 4k HDR content unwatchable. Perhaps some sort of on the fly option to convert ASS to SRT? FFMPEG can convert subs for 2 hour movie in about 3 seconds with a one liner.
Another issue is Atmos 7.1 transcoding, there is a bug making bitrate on transcoded audio infinite. a sub 1 Megabit audio stream completely saturates 160Megabit (maximum of my network). Its specifically for Atmos 7.1 transcoding.
Reference issue: LG OLED WebOS App is using 160 times the bandwidth that it should for transcoded audio (160Megabit+)
