We love that we have such a dedicated dev community, and I want to reassure you that this is something near and dear to our hearts.
At this time we have no plans to update Python. Instead, we are currently working on new APIs that will provide 3rd party developers with the capabilities that are expected in today’s Python-based agents. This will include releasing public API documentation, so anyone can jump in and start interacting with PMS!
Also, there will be a transition period before we start sunsetting any existing functionality, while we work out any kinks and make sure it’s polished for prime time!
We are looking forward to directly working with community developers during this transition period and make sure that the new APIs provide all the functionality you need today.
While I don’t have a lot more I can share at this point, we’re aiming to start communicating the plan around this early next year.
