Plex for LG 5.94.1 doesn't respect default Streams

I recently noticed that the current Plex for LG App doesn’t respect the media streams default flags. I am not sure if this was always the case but because of transcoding issues with DTS streams I added AC3/EAC3 streams and made them default to reduce CPU usage on the server.

From my point of view the app should use the streams which are marked as default. I made sure the files are updated and Plex shows the streams but doesn’t select them correctly by itself so I always have to manually select them. Because DTS (DCA) is unselected and the other streams are set as default streams I would love Plex to use the correct streams.

Any suggestions?

The “default” flag is never used in Plex.

When you add new audio streams, you need to remux the video file anyway.
Take the opportunity to order the audio stream which shall be used by default, as the first one of all audio streams.

Thanks for your fast reply. Good to know that this is not an issue of the current version. I guess it is a design choice as the default flag could be set for a different language but as DTS is not supported and unselected I would like Plex to select another stream if available which is supported. Is there any chance to take this as a feature request or was this already discussed?
