Version 1.9.0 has been released for Plex for Windows and Plex for Mac

New

  • Updated web-client/4.32.1-4b8286210-8295.
  • Playback: Configurable audio device output including passthrough of supported codecs.
  • Playback: Seek bar now shows range of buffered range.

Fixes

  • General: Quitting the application while in true fullscreen will restart the app in true fullscreen.
  • General: Quitting the application while maximized will restart the app in a (correctly) maximized window.
  • General: Fullscreen or maximized window restored at startup can be returned to its previous window size
  • Mac: Window will minimize as expected when Command+M is pressed.
  • Playback: RealMedia (RealVideo 4 video and Cooker audio) will now direct play. We have follow-up work required to fallback to transcode when direct play is unavailable.
  • Windows: Investigated issues reported on multimonitor setups.
