While watching football on CBS Sunday, 11/23/25, they mentioned the, “Everybody Loves Raymond 30th Reunion” will air Monday, 11/24/25, at 8PM. So I went into my guide to record this and for some reason Monday Night Football (MNF) showed in the guide (I tried this on AppleTV, my iPhone, and in a browser). MNF is on ABC and/or ESPN, not CBS, so I’m curious why my guide is so wrong.
The NFL has a rule that all games for local teams are broadcast on free OTA channels in their local market so that all fans can watch, regardless if they have cable or not.
If the game is on a cable network, ESPN, Amazon, etc…, the game is also aired for the local market on a broadcast partner, cbs, fox or abc.
The MNF game this week is only on ESPN, not ABC as it sometimes is, and the CBS affiliate must have the rights to air it.
