Currently it is only possible to restrict shares via a white list:
If I want a movie to be shared I have to add a label the movie (e.G. “familiy-friendly”).
My use-case is reversed. I want that all movies/tv shows are shared, except the movies/shows where I add a label.
Solution would be very simple:
Just rename in the user restriction section the input field “label” into “label (allowed)” and add an second input field with the name “label (restricted)”.
“label (allowed)” behaves like the current implementation, all labels which are in this field will be allowed for this user.
In contrast “label (restricted)” will hide movies/shows.
Example 1:
The TV Show “Big Bang Theorie” gets the sharing labels: “familiy-friendly” and “hidden”.
The TV Show “Dragon ball” only “familiy-friendly”.
First I add to the user “Bart” in “label (allowed)” the tag “familiy-friendly”. Now he has access to “Big Bang Theorie” and “Dragon ball”.
After that I add to his “label (allowed)” the label “hidden”, which restrict his access only to “Big Bang Theorie”.
Example 2:
I have 3 Movies in my Library.
- Matrix 1
- Matrix 2
- Matrix 3
Matrix 2 and 3 are so bad that don’t want them to be shared. So I label them with “B-Movie”.
After I added for the User “Lisa” in “label (restricted)” the label “B-Movie” she has only access to Matrix 1.
