Currently, I set my music’s artist name to Artist 1 / Artist 2 / etc.. which was fine up until any PMS version past 1.26.2. Plex would add in ;Artist 1;Artist 2;etc.. then quickly remove it during a scan, now it doesn’t remove the excess artist names. I reported it in reddit a few months ago and just decided to stay on 1.26.2 to avoid the headache.

In addition to having one artist field as Artist 1 / Artist 2 / etc.. I also add in x amount of artist fields for each artist, so maybe that’s messing it up. Maybe the metadata-processing rewrite that happened in 1.26.3 (I think) stopped comparing the excess artists.
