plex-lastfm-scrobble - Scrobble Plex audio tracks to Last.fm

Hello. Can't get it to start. With or without virtualenv. I'm using CentOS 6.6.

(plex-lastfm-scrobber)[21:09:52] [58.0°C] rolle ~ $ plex-scrobble.py

"mediaserver_url = 'http://192.168.2.100:32400'
"

I can access to my Plex web through http://192.168.2.100:32400/web so I guess that part of the config is okay?

Also, the setup didn't create ~/.config/plex-lastfm-scrobbler/plex_scrobble.conf automatically. Run as me, not root.

Tips?

I am going to be blunt, a lot of us pay for a Plex Pass. In my eyes this is a paid for app. The omission of the most basic scrobbling services is appalling. I'm not interested in putting my console jockey hat on, THAT IS WHY WE PAY. How long is it going to take for Last.FM and Trakt to be as simple as my User Name & Password. It is at least an addon on nearly every decent HTPC software out there.

Disappointed,

Sean

You're complaining in the wrong place.

Hey,

at first, sorry for my bad english, but it's not my best.

And now my problem. My big problem is, that i have no idea how i can install it on my Synology DiskStation. Can anobody write an tutorial for it? Or can anybody install it directly on my DiskStation?

If you haven’t see it yet, Last.fm is now built in to Plex’s Accounts functionality.

Thanks for the heads up. Completely missed this.
Been waiting a long time for this feature.

I went the virtual environment route and ran it from
cd ~/Virtualenvs virtualenv ~/.virtualenvs/plex-lastfm-scrobber source ~/.virtualenvs/plex-lastfm-scrobber/bin/activate cd plex-lastfm-scrobbler nohup plex-scrobble.py &
and it’s working, but how do i have this start on startup on my Mac?

This is good, but it doesn’t show what you’re scrobbling as you’re listening to it. Only after you’ve listened does it record.
